Both work beautifully with The Melt, it's really about personal preference. Cotton is soft and breathable, like a small plush face towel, a natural, tactile feel. Microfiber lifts makeup and cleanser with clever physics, ultra-fine fibres do the mechanical work, so you need less product. Try one, or try both.
How do I wash it?
Rinse thoroughly with warm water after each use and hang to dry. Machine wash weekly or every few days on a gentle cycle. Don't use fabric softener, it clogs the fibres over time.
Can I use it dry?
Always use it damp with warm water, dry cloth on skin is unnecessarily abrasive. Warm damp cloth is what makes it work as a partner for The Melt.
